Would you like to be coached by a former Wimbledon and British Davis Cup player or even play with or against one of them? Your chance is here! On Saturday 4th September, Danny Sapsford and James Auckland, working with the Bright Ideas for Tennis charity, will be coaching as well as competing in an exhibition match at Oxford Sports Lawn Tennis Club.
Danny Sapsford has played against Pete Sampras in the third round at Wimbledon and James Auckland has partnered Andy Murray in doubles. Now is your chance to see how it’s done!
Starting at 1pm, there will be a whole line up of fun for all the family including coaching for all ages, fastest serve competition, barbecue, teas, raffle, games, face-painting, special membership offers and much more! Then there will be the chance to watch or even play with the Pros.
We will be holding a raffle, which will be drawn on the day:
1st prize – £100 Cash
2nd prize – a term’s worth of group coaching (for one person)
3rd prize – a tennis holiday camp voucher (worth up to £150)
plus more fabulous prizes
All proceeds will go towards growing tennis in our community: bringing tennis to those less advantaged and improving facilities.
