Davis Cup Charity Open Day 4 September
Committee 2020 / 2021
Message from the Chair, Sarah Wierszycki – July 2021:
Thank you for visiting our website. I do hope you have found the information that you need but please do be in touch if you have any questions or suggestions (see Contact Us page). We would love to hear from you.
We offer a family-friendly club with tennis for all ages and abilities, with good team tennis (at all levels, see below) and a growing social calendar. We aim to offer tennis for all in a friendly, inclusive and professional way.
Our Mission Statement is:
To provide high quality tennis and tennis related facilities to all members and the local community to play and develop through the provision of social, team and coached sessions in an easily accessible and affordable way in order for them to have fun, make new friends and stay healthy and fit.
It’s the perfect time to try the club with a reduced-price membership offer this year! We have coaching available for all ages and abilities, including Adult Beginners’ courses, Rusty Rackets and Cardio Tennis. We have Junior squads for children of all ages and Holiday Camps. We also offer tennis for those who are visually impaired and Walking Tennis for those recovering from injury or who may be less mobile.
We are very excited that our top Men’s team has just won promotion to the National Division of the National League! We have 18 adult teams in total and 6 junior ones.
Our committee has been working flat out since it started in September 2020 and our members tell us they have noticed the positive changes. We have exciting plans and are trying to use the results of our recent Customer Satisfaction Survey to improve our Club as members would want. Thankfully the team is large – not just on the Committee but off it as well, with many others helping to make a difference. It feels good.
We really look forward to hearing from you or seeing you at Oxford Sports.
